Subscribing to Podcasts |
|
You can use Media Go software to subscribe to RSS 2.0 feeds (podcasts, video blogs, etc.) with enclosures and download files that you can then transfer to your devices.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and it's a method of publishing files on the Web. A podcast is an XML document that can contain text and media enclosures (also called episodes).
When you subscribe to a podcast, Media Go automatically downloads the latest episode, and you can then play the episodes on your computer or on your devices. You can manually download additional episodes and set Media Go to automatically check for and download new episodes.
You can set your default podcast download preferences for all
podcasts from the Podcasts tab of the Preferences
dialog, but you can also modify the download settings for each podcast
individually.
Select the Podcasts category in the library to view the Podcasts pane, shown below. Once you have subscribed to podcasts, this pane displays all of the podcasts in your library. Double-click a podcast to view the available episodes.
