Playing Music, Videos, and Photo Slideshows |

You can use Media Go software as a jukebox to play music, videos, and photo slideshows on your computer. Use the controls at the top of the application to control playback.
To play music or video, select the appropriate category (such as Music, Movies & TV Shows, or Podcasts) in your library, and then select the item you want to play. Perform one of the following actions to start playing the file:
Click the Play
button
in the upper-left
corner of the Media Go window.
Right-click it and choose Play from the shortcut menu.
Choose Play/Pause from the Playback menu.
Press F12. If the media file is a video or photo, this action will automatically launch a large-screen view.
Press Enter. If the media file is a video or photo, this action will automatically launch a large-screen view.
Double-click it. If the media file is a video or photo, this action will automatically launch a large-screen view.
There
are additional playback shortcuts available to use, depending on which
area of the Media Go window has focus. For more information, click here.
To play a photo slideshow, select the Photos & Home Videos category in your library, and then select the photo with which to begin the slideshow. Perform one of the following actions to begin playing the slideshow:
Click the Play
button
in the upper-left
corner of the Media Go window.
Right-click it and choose Start Slideshow from the shortcut menu.
Choose Play/Pause from the Playback menu.
Press F12.
Click the Slideshow button at the bottom of the Photos & Home Videos pane.
Photo slideshows will automatically launch in the full-screen view.
If your selected media has multiple audio tracks, you can change the current track during playback. From the Playback menu, choose Audio Track and then choose the desired track from the submenu.
If your media contains subtitles, you can view them during playback. From the Playback menu, choose Subtitle Track and then choose the desired track from the submenu.
If your media contains chapters, you can navigate to each chapter during playback using one of the following options:
Click a chapter mark on the playback slider to advance to that chapter.
From the Playback menu, choose Chapters and then choose the desired chapter from the submenu.
When playback looping is on, Media Go continuously plays media in the Now Playing list. When the last file is played or shown, Media Go loops back to the first file in the list.
To turn on looping, use one of the following options:
In the Now
Playing pane, click the Loop
button
. The button
changes color to indicate that looping is enabled:

From the Playback menu, choose Loop.
To turn off looping, repeat one of the steps above.
To loop playback for a photo slideshow, first begin playback
using one of the options in the Play
a media file section above. When playback has begun in full-screen
view, click the Settings
button
in the slideshow controls and select the
Loop playback
check box from the menu.
To turn off slideshow looping, select the check box again to remove the check.
When playback shuffling is on, Media Go plays media in the Now Playing list in a random order. You can use looping and shuffling together to play files continuously in a random order.
To turn shuffling on, use one of the options below:
In the Now Playing pane, click the
Shuffle button
. The button changes
color to indicate that shuffling is enabled:

From the Playback menu, choose Shuffle.
To turn off shuffling, repeat one of the steps above.
To shuffle slide order during playback for a photo slideshow,
first begin playback using one of the options in the Play
a media file section above. When playback has begun in full-screen
view, click the Settings
button
in the slideshow controls and select the Shuffle
slide order check box from the menu.
To turn off slideshow shuffling, select the check box again to remove the check.
Drag the volume fader on the playback controls at the top of the window to adjust volume up (right) or down (left).

Click the Mute
button
to mute playback.
To unmute playback, click the Unmute
button
or drag the
volume fader to the right.
