Connecting Your Device to Media Go Software |

You can use Media Go to transfer media to and from a USB-connected device.
Start Media Go and turn on your device.
Use a USB cable to connect your device to your computer.
The device will prompt you to choose a USB connection mode. Choose Phone mode, Media transfer, or Mass storage, and then press the Select button.
If
the prompt does not appear, you can access it by performing the following
steps:
Choose Menu on your device.
Choose Settings > Connectivity > USB, and then choose USB default mode.
On Smartphones, choose Tools > Connect > USB, and then choose USB Functionality.
If you're using a newly formatted Memory Stick, Media Go will prompt you to type a name to identify the volume.
Media Go adds your device to the library navigation pane.

Start Media Go and turn on your WALKMAN.
Use a USB cable to connect your WALKMAN to your computer. Your device will automatically start in USB mode.
Media Go adds your WALKMAN to the library navigation pane.
To safely disconnect your device from Media Go and your computer, perform one of the following actions:
Right-click your device in the navigation pane and choose Disconnect Device from the shortcut menu.
Locate your device in the navigation
pane and click the Eject
button
.
Select your device in the navigation pane and click the Eject option near the bottom of the device overview pane.
The device no longer appears in the navigation pane and you can disconnect the device and USB cable from your computer.
If Media Go is busy transferring files to or from the device, you are prompted to decide whether to stop transferring the files and disconnect the device, or continue transferring the files.
Click Yes to stop transferring files and disconnect the device.
Click No to continue transferring the files. You can disconnect the device after the transfer is complete.
